Senior Meals Program

LCOG Senior & Disability Services' nutrition wellness program operates nine Café 60 dining rooms and delivers Meals on Wheels throughout Lane County. Both programs serve adults age 60 and older and their spouses, regardless of their income. If you're interested in volunteering for the Senior Meals Program, click here.

The Menu

We specialize in home-baked breads, gravies, sauces and salad dressings that are lower in fat. View our current and upcoming monthly menus at the bottom of this page.

Cost

Voluntary donations are welcome, but not required. Contributions directly impact our ability to provide nutritious meals, friendly visits, and regular wellness checks to seniors in our community. No eligible person is refused service who is unable to contribute. Both programs are only partially federally funded and depend heavily on participant contributions and charitable gifts.

For more information about the Senior Meals Program, please contact our Aging and Disability Resource Connection (ADRC) at 541-682-3353.

Café 60 Dining Rooms

The congregate setting is designed to provide a welcoming and pleasant atmosphere where people age 60 and older, and their spouses, can gather for a meal. Older adults can enjoy meeting new people, form friendships, and gain support by coming together for meals on a regular basis. The balanced meal and the social contact provide a positive motivation for self-care for seniors who often eat poorly on their own and can become lonely and depressed in isolation. Congregate sites offer nutrition education and access to other aging services and information.

The nutrition program is more than just a meal -- its purpose is to nourish the whole person.

Café 60 Dining Rooms operate in Coburg, Cottage Grove, Creswell, Eugene, Florence, Junction City, Oakridge, Springfield, and Veneta.
